(PTOJ) - In order to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Southern Uprising Day (November 23, 1940 - November 23, 2020), in November 22, in Ho Chi Minh City, Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, Central Propaganda Commission of the Party and Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee coordinated to organize the national scientific conference titled "The Southern uprising - The strong will and aspiration for independence of the Vietnamese nation".

(LLCT) - In the afternoon of November 3rd, 2020, the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics (HCMA) in cooperation with the Embassy of the Republic of Finland in Vietnam held a webinar entitled "E-government in national and local governance: Finnish experiences and policy implications for Vietnam” in Hanoi, Vietnam and Helsinki, Finland.

(LLCT) - The 3rd Party Committee Congress of the Centrally-run Businesses’ Sector, term 2020-2025, successfully took place in Hanoi from 19th to 21st October, 2020. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Xuan Thang, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Theoretical Council, President of Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics (HCMA) attended and offered guidance at the event. HCMA honourably introduces his speech.

(LLCT) - In the morning of November 5th, 2020, the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics organized a conference to thoroughly grasp Directive No.43-CT/TW issued by the Secretariat on strengthening the Party’s leadership in activities of the Vietnam Journalists Association in the new situation. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Duong Trung Y, Vice President of the Academy, attended and co-chaired the conference with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vu Hoang Cong, Former Editor-in-Chief cum Secretary of the journalists association of the Academy’s Political Theory Journal.

(LLCT) - The 13th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam wrapped up on February 1 morning after eight working days, with its resolution adopted at the closing session.

(LLCT) - Towards the 90th anniversary of Nghe-Tinh Soviet movement (1930-2020), Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics coordinated with the Central Propaganda and Training Commission of the Party, Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee, and Nghe An Provincial Party Committee to organize the national scientific conference titled “Nghe-Tinh Soviet movement: The power of the masses makes history” on September 6, 2020 in the central city of Ha Tinh.

(LLCT) - In the morning of September 3, 2020, Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics organized a scientific seminar titled “Classical Marxist-Leninists with the fight against wrong and hostile views”. The chairmen of the seminar were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Van Loi and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Duong Trung Y, Vice Presidents of the Academy.

(LLCT) - In the morning of September, 24^th 2020, Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics held scientific workshop “Pham Huu Lau’s dedication to the Vietnamese revolution”. Vice President Assoc.Prof.Dr Le Van Loi attended and chaired workshop, along with Vice General Director of Institute of Party History Assoc.Prof.Dr Tran Trong Tho, Project Manager about Pham Huu Lau's documents. Attending the workshop were the experts and scientists inside and outside the Academy.

(LLCT) - In the morning of September 26, in Vinh City (Nghe An), Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics (HCMA) coordinated with the Central propaganda and training commission and Nghe An Provincial Party Committee to hold a scientific seminar themed " Nguyen Thi Minh Khai with Vietnam Revolution and Nghe An homeland” on Nguyen Thi Minh Khai’s 110^th birth anniversary (September 30, 2010 - September 30, 2020).

(LLCT) - On September 22, 2020, Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics cooperated with the People's Committee of Ha Tinh province to organize a scientific workshop themed: "Improving the efficiency of governance and public administration in Ha Tinh province". The workshop is within the framework of the cooperation program between the Academy and UNDP in 2020.

(LLCT) - The Fourth Industrial Revolution is developing at an unprecedented speed, leaving profound effects on all areas of social life, on the social-class structure, including intellectuals. In the new context, this core force who stand at the forefront of the creativeness and knowledge transmission are also under great impact, facing new challenges and undergoing new changes among themselves. Therefore, understanding the contingent of Vietnamese intellectuals to identify these changes is an urgent job, especially for those who do research and teach scientific socialism.

(LLCT) - On the 12^th of April 2016, the United Nations Development Program in Vietnam (UNDP), the Centre for Official Fostering and Scientific Research (under the Fatherland Front of Vietnam), and the Centre for Community Support and Development Studies, launched Vietnam Provincial Governance and Public Administration Performance Index (PAPI) 2015 in Hanoi. In attendance of the ceremony were Prof. Dr. Ta Ngoc Tan, President of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, H.E. Ms. Beatrice Maser Mallor, Ambassador of Switzerland to Vietnam, and Ms. Pratibha Mehta, Resident Coordinator of the United Nations in Vietnam.

(LLCT) - On December 9^th, 2015, the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics held the Scientific Seminar “Human Right Achievements of Vietnam over 70 years” in Hanoi. The seminar was hosted by Prof., Dr. Ta Ngoc Tan, Member of the Party Central Committee and President of the Academy, Assoc. Prof., Dr. Nguyen Tat Giap, Vice President of the Academy, and Assoc. Prof., Dr. Dang Dung Chi,Director of the Institute of Human rights.

(LLCT) - Adding to the framework of cooperative relations and strategic partnerships between Vietnam and Spain, on November 19^th of 2015, the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, the Embassy of Spain in Hanoi, and the Alternatives Foundation held a seminar called: “Vietnam and Spain’s experience of regional integration: Comparative Approach” in Hanoi.

(LLCT) - The latest results from the nationwide survey on Vietnam Provincial Governance and Public Administration Performance Index (PAPI)^* 2015 have indicated declines at the national level in five out of the six fields measured, as was reported at the launching ceremony of PAPI 2015 in Hanoi on April 12.
