(PTOJ) - Based on the analysis of the peculiarities of scientific research at the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, this article points out the requirements for the management mechanism of political theory science and proposes an appropriate financial management mechanism, thereby contributing to expediting the successful completion of the Academy's future scientific tasks.

  (PTOJ) - The formation and development of political theories are associated with specific political, economic, social, and cultural contexts. Political theories are not only the abstractions and generalizations of practice, but also the summation and conclusion of the laws of social movement. Each political theory, doctrine, or school is usually associated with an author or a group of authors who in most cases are philosophers, thinkers, political scientists, sociologists, or economists. The study of modern political theories has important theoretical and practical significance, which is to absorb the quintessence of human knowledge and contribute to shaping theoretical awareness, especially in the context that Vietnam strengthens research work and raises the level of Party theory. This article identifies modern political theories from around the world and suggests an approach for research in Vietnam.

(PTOJ) - The cultural value system is one of the core and fundamental value systems in Vietnam and is part of the foundation to ensure the country's sustainable development. This article analyzes the building of a Vietnamese cultural value system in the context of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, which has a significant impact all aspects of social life, including the cultural sector.

(PTOJ) - Violations in the performance of cadre personnel work are a phenomenon that has aroused strong passions among the people and caused a lot of negative phenomena and consequences in the organization of the Party apparatus and public authorities, undermining the prestige, role, leadership capacity, and combat power of the Party, the performance of the State agencies, as well as the people’s trust in the Party and the socialist regime. The article contributes to identifying and analyzing some manifestations of violations in the exercise of power at key stages in cadre personnel work process.

(PTOJ) - This article clarifies the conspiracies, methods and tricks of the hostile forces in denying and distorting the great contributions of president Ho Chi Minh to the peace of Vietnam as well as the world, and at the same time analyze the theoretical and practical grounds to refute the above-mentioned false claims.

(PTOJ) - Profound changes have taken place in the family structure in the Red River Delta over the past 20 years due to the process of urban growth and changes in socio-economic-cultural conditions in the region. This article analyzes the change in family structure in terms of family size, structure, function, and family relationship, contributing to clearly identifying the typical forms and values of the family in rural areas nowadays.

(PTOJ) - The emergence of social networking sites has fundamentally changed the flow of information, from a communication model of one source - many recipients to a network model of many sources - many recipients. This article assesses an overview of political communication on social networks in Vietnam by analyzing the activities of a number of socio-political organizations and press agencies on social network platforms Facebook, Zalo, YouTube and Tiktok. This will be followed by some recommendations about how to use social networks for political communication in Vietnam.

(PTOJ) - When mentioning the development of a law-ruled State in Vietnam, there are many opinions that it is impossible to develop a law-ruled state in case of one Communist Party ruling the nation and if it is possible, that state will not fully meet the international standards? This article affirms that, despite the difficulties of a country with only one ruling Communist Party, Vietnam can develop a law-ruled state under the common standards. Furthermore, Communist Party of Vietnam is fully capable and needs to lead this process.

(PTOJ) - Vietnam pursues a consistent policy of respecting, protecting and promoting human rights, which is embodied in its each and every Party guideline and State law. During the periods of renovation and international integration, Vietnam has gained numerous achievements in promoting human rights - the fact that is distorted and slandered by reactionaries and hostile forces waving the banner “Vietnam’s human rights record remains dire”. This article is focused on identifying, analyzing and rejecting those baseless allegations, contributing to the reinforcement of the Party ideological foundation.

(PTOJ) - In the current context of deepening globalization, nationalism is on the rise, affecting the development of all nations. Vietnam is also affected by this problem in both positive and negative direction. Therefore, it is necessary to clearly identify new expression of nationalism and its effects and influences so that Vietnam can be proactive in planning guidelines and strategies for national development in the new context.
