(PTOJ) - The resistance war against the US for national salvation is known as the great epic of the Vietnamese people’s war in the 20th century. It was the triumph of the all-people, comprehensive, long-term resistance war, which was the combination of the highly promoted synergy with the strength of the times. The success of mass mobilization work, indeed, made a great contribution to promoting the synergy. This paper clarifies some basic viewpoints on mass mobilization work on the southern battlefield (1954-1975) and valuable lessons for mass mobilization work, boosting the strength of the entire people in the process of national construction and defense nowadays.

(PTOJ) - General Vo Nguyen Giap - The outstanding military genius of the Vietnamese nation in the Ho Chi Minh era, the “Big Brother of the Vietnam People's Army”⁽¹⁾, “The People's General”⁽²⁾, has made many great merits and especially outstanding contributions to the revolutionary cause of the Vietnamese Party and nation. Not only was an excellent and experienced general, but he also always upheld humanistic and peaceful thoughts and a representative of the peaceful aspiration of the Vietnamese people.

(PTOJ) - The Ho Chi Minh sea trail is the strategic transport route connecting the North pillar with the Southern front line in the war against the US for national salvation. Overcoming many difficulties, hardships and sacrifices, in the face of fierce enemy attacks, this strategic transport route with the journeys of tens of thousands of seas has operated continuously for 14 years (1961 - 1975). It has become the legendary road, the symbol of the great unity strength and aspiration for independence, freedom and national reunification of the Vietnamese people.

(PTOJ) - After the August Revolution victory in 1945, the Democratic Republic of Vietnam came into existence, opening the democracy-building period in Vietnam. During the early time of independence, the country's economy was exhausted and the literacy level was extremely low, however the people's mastership, especially in the political area, was guaranteed. The first General Election was successfully held on January 6, 1946 with the participation of a large number of people. In this regard, a People's Government was formed. The article focuses on clarifying Ho Chi Minh’s will in building the republic democracy and its values today.

(LLCT) - Thoroughly studying Ho Chi Minh Thought and the Party's leadership style associated with current reality, the article draws some lessons from the August Revolution victory in 1945. It is the lesson on firmly hoisting the flag of national independence and socialism; on great national unity; revolution is the cause of the people, by the people, for the people; on the relationship between quality and quantity; on the close link between the Party's will with the people’s hearts, liberating ourselves with our own strength.

(LLCT) - On September 2, 1945, at Ba Dinh flower garden, Hanoi, in front of a great number of people, on behalf of the provisional Government, Ho Chi Minh read the Declaration of Independence, officially giving birth to the Democratic Republic of Vietnam, a totally new regime in the thousands of years’ history of the Vietnamese people and also the first people's democratic state in Southeast Asia. The Declaration of Independence is a document with immortal value leading the way for Vietnam’s development.

(LLCT) - Hoang Van Thu is one of the typical senior leaders of the Party and Vietnamese revolution. Throughout his life with the revolutionary cause, Hoang Van Thu made significant contributions to many fields of work of the Party in theory and practical operation instruction, which were acknowledged by the Party and people. The noble communist cause and ideals of Hoang Van Thu are always the pride and bright example for the Vietnamese generations, especially youth, to learn and follow.

(LLCT) - It has been 170 years since the Manifesto of the Communist Party was born. The value of its theoretical points has remained unchanged up to now. The country on the path to socialism can apply it creatively in accordance with its specific conditions. For Vietnam, the chosen transitional path to socialism is oriented and lightened by the Manifesto and Marxism - Leninism. The vitality of the Manifesto is the constant inspiration which requires us to supplement and develop the theory of socialism and the transitional path to socialism in Vietnam in the new context.

(LLCT) - The 1986 Spring Mau Than General Offensive and Uprising marked a turning point for our people’s anti-U.S. resistance war for national salvation, shaking the US’s will of aggression and forcing them to cease bombing the North and to negotiate to end the war of aggression in Vietnam. 50 years have passed, the 1968 Spring Mau Than General Offensive and Uprising has forever been engraved in the history of the nation, leaving us a number of valuable lessons.

(LLCT) - International integration in defense and security is the consistent guideline and strategic policy of Vietnam with the goals of promoting bilateral and active cooperation, actively participating in multilateral mechanisms on defense and security as a friend, a reliable partner and responsible member of the international community, and considering it a strategy for protecting the nation and preventing conflict through peaceful means.

(LLCT) - The Russia's October Revolution is a product of the developmental era of capitalism and actions taken by the communist and workers’ movement around the world. The revolution provided a realistic path to fulfill people’s desire for a fair and equal society. The socialism in the Soviet Union and Eastern Europe has created the unprecedented and unforgettable values of justice and equality. However, mistakes in conception and policy that hadn't been fixed in time resulted in the collapse of the realistic socialism, leaving behind important lessons for communists in the world.

(LLCT) - Paracel archipelago is a district-level administrative unit of Da Nang City. From the August Revolution in 1945 up to now, Da Nang authorities have always paid attention to the activities of exploiting, protecting the traditional fishing ground and the sovereignty over this island district. Based on some archived documents and memoirs, the article mentions a few activities of the Da Nang Municipal Party Committee in the years from 1945 to 1950 to overtake and protect Paracel archipelago, showing the special concern of the Committee about this sacred territory of the Fatherland.

(LLCT) - Over the past 70 years, the whole Party, people, and army of Vietnam have always paid attention and reserved the deep affection, responsibilities to take good care of the war invalids, martyrs’ families, and revolution devotees through the policies which are specific, practical, and suitable for each period of the revolution, showing the gratitude tradition of the Vietnamese.

(LLCT) - The great Russian October Revolution miraculously attracted Ho Chi Minh because “no one can practically help us escape the colonialism that the countries ‘spreading civilization’ are imprisoning us...Many people realize our inferiority but no one except the revolutionists of the Russian October Revolution will show us the way to independence”. The way Ho Chi Minh found the light of this Revolution is similar to “the way a person dying of thirst has found something to drink, or a person dying of hunger has found something to eat”. 

(LLCT) - On the occasion of the 140^th birth anniversary of Huynh Thuc Khang (1876 - 2016), this article, from a historical perspective, means to further clarify his political portrait as a person, a thinker and an activist by studying his contribution to the national struggle for independence in the 20th century.
