(PTOJ) - Over the past 30 years, the Institute of Politics, under the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, has undergone a process of construction and development in all aspects. Basically, the Institute has effectively performed its assigned functions and tasks during each development period. The article reviews the development process of the Institute and its outstanding achievements in recent years in areas such as cadre training and fostering, scientific research, international cooperation, and other activities.

(PTOJ) - The Institute of Philosophy, Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, was established as a Philosophy Department in September 1957, with the function and task of being an assistant to experts and assisting the students at Nguyen Ai Quoc High-level Party School. In 1960, the Faculty of Philosophy was established with the function of directly teaching Marxist - Leninist philosophy for High-and-middle-level theoretical classes. In 1964, this Faculty began to offer training courses to PhD students. In 1990, the faculty started to provide training courses for masters in philosophy.

(PTOJ) - After 60 years of construction and development, the Academy of Journalism and Communication has always successfully completed all tasks assigned by the Party and the State, deserving to be a Party school, a key national university in training political theory lecturers, press officers - in media and a number of other fields. The article summarizes the leadership process of the Party Committee’s sound performance of the political tasks of the university.

(PTOJ) - The Vietnamese international press plays an important role in conveying information about the Party's foreign policies, strategies and activities and State’s diplomacy, contributing to promoting the image and position of the country to international friends. Hence, it is essential for the staff to equip themselves with in-depth knowledge and skills in journalism and foreign affairs. This article contributes to clarifying the requirements and proposes some solutions to improve the quality of human resources in training for the Vietnamese international press today.

(PTOJ) - The process of Doi Moi (Renewal), accelerating industrialization and modernization as well as international integration have required qualified, capable and reputable cadres on a par with their duties. On the basis of Ho Chi Minh's viewpoint on cadre training, the author of the article clarifies the current situation in this field and proposes some solutions to apply Ho Chi Minh's thoughts to raising the quality and effectiveness of training and fostering to meet the requirements of tasks in the new period.

(PTOJ) - Vietnam has brilliantly succeeded in opening up educational opportunities to all of its citizens. As a result, the last two decades have witnessed an increase in the proportion of both people with professional and technical training and those with higher education in the workforce. However, it is the inequality in educational opportunities and the slow growth rate of highly qualified human resources that still remain challenging. In the light of the systems theory approach, the solution is to radically and comprehensively renovate education and training, including education universalization, learning society construction and lifelong learning capacity development.

(PTOJ) - Training leaders and managers is the essential function and task of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics. Over the years, this work has undergone many innovations, constantly improving its quality, making an essential contribution to building the contingent of qualified and capable cadres of the political system to meet the requirements of tasks in the new era. However, this work still needs to continue to innovate in the future.

(PTOJ) - Understanding and applying Ho Chi Minh’s ideology on law and discipline is of great significance in legal education and discipline training for students in military schools. This is important in improving students’ law and military discipline knowledge, contributing to building a revolutionary, regular, elite, gradually modernized Vietnamese People’s Army.

(PTOJ) - Vietnamese civil servants and public staff have gradually improved to meet the requirements in the new period. However, there are corrupted civil servants in political and ethical terms, having signs of deviations from ethical norms at different levels. After proposing and analyzing a number of fundamental concepts: civil servant, public service, public service ethics, deviations from ethical norms, the article describes the current situation of the deviations in public integrity among some Vietnamese civil servants, thereby proposing some solutions to address these issues.

(PTOJ) - The Institute of Leadership and Public Policy over 10 years of building and development has gained many remarkable achievements. The article reviews the achievements and limitations in the 10 years of establishment and development of the Institute of Leadership and Public Policy, and affirms the Institute’s development orientation and vision in the coming years.

(PTOJ) - Together with the strong formation and development of all aspects of the Academy's work, international cooperation activities have been expanding and developing, directly contributing to the successful implementation of political tasks of the Academy, improvingthe quality of cadre training, fostering, research and policy consulting. The article analyzes and clarifies the development process and contributions of the Academy's international cooperation activities and the tasks and directions in the coming time.

(PTOJ) - The article focuses on clarifying the revolutionary conceptions, characteristics, and ethical values of officers and soldiers of People's Public Security of Vietnam, requirements, and solutions to improve the efficiency of training revolutionary morality of the officers and soldiers of People's Public Security in the new situation.

(PTOJ) - Currently, a contingent of lecturers of Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics (HCMA) needs a breakthrough development in both quantity and quality. Lecturers of the Academy must be exemplary in all aspects; highly qualified; proactive in scientific research; practically knowledgeable; effectively engaged in the struggle to protect the Party's ideological foundation, and mastery in active teaching methods. To develop a contingent of lecturers on a par with their assigned tasks in the new period, it is necessary to synchronously apply a variety of solutions: establishing a development plan for the 2020-2030 period; preparing for sources of lecturers in appropriate ways; enhancing the training and fostering of lecturers; creating an open scientific environment for lecturers; ensuring regular rotation for lecturers; attaching importance to the attendance work; periodically evaluating the lecturers, and building appropriate mechanisms and policies.

(LLCT) - Training and fostering a contingent of Ho Chi Minh Thought researchers and lecturers plays a pivotal role in improving the quality and effectiveness of teaching, research, and communication about Ho Chi Minh's life, career, and thought. The article focuses on clarifying the process of building such a contingent and the betterment of their training quality.

(LLCT) - Over the past years, international cooperation in general and staff training of Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics has significantly contributed to promote the renewal of content, course, skills and methods of training management; increase the capacity of scientific research, policy advice; enhance the ability to integrate and work in the international environment of the Academy’s teachers and research staffs, thus raising the status of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics in the international arena. In the coming time, the Academy will continue to exploit well existing cooperative relationships, strengthen the search for new partners, with diversified, practical, effective, and responsive forms of cooperation to achieve the Academy’s mission in the new era.
